Looking for a way to connect, play, and learn with your child and foster their love of music at the same time? Come join us for the most unique, diverse early childhood music class in Lawrence! Children up to age 5 and their caregivers sing, dance, play instruments, and read stories for 30 minutes of active music-making and also enjoy 30 minutes of free play at Laugh Out Loud! Cost covers an 8-week session of classes.
Babies/Toddlers Make Music! Class
Babies instinctively react to music! In these interactive Family & Me classes, parents & babies birth to walking learn delightful rhymes, lullabies, floor and lap games, action songs and dances that stimulate your baby’s natural response to music. Parents gather information each week on infant musical development and learn activities to share in class and use at home. Participation also increases bonding with your baby, develops listening and motor skills, and enhances language development and sense of balance and timing. Cost covers one session, which includes 45-minute, once weekly, classes for 5 weeks.
Babies or Toddlers Make Music! Instrument Kit
This collection of baby-safe instruments and scarf is used throughout the Babies Make Music classes! The cost is $55 and includes a CD, scarf, maraca, tot drum and mallet, and tot bell inside of an adorable and durable backpack.
